The first issue features engineer, Theo Jansen's Strandbeest project, Jonah Lehrer's exploration of Igor Stravinsky's insight into how the human mind reads music, and an examination of how Jean-Luc Godard's experimental film – King Lear, acted as a psuedo-interactive film. The magazine is designed to take a more in depth narrative approach to the content that is meant to engage both on a visual and intellectual level, as well as look into the historical foundation of The installation provides students with an opportunity to vent at their school by literally "screaming at the dot." Using a wireless mic an the input device, Users control the size of the dots by screaming, snapping, clapping, talking, or making any other noise. In this way they are both getting visual feedback of their sound while creating an imprint on the space.
